How Member Lens scores your site
We evaluate six dimensions of your website to determine whether your messaging trains subscriber behavior or member behavior. 100 points total.
Does your homepage lead with what the organization does for people, or just what it offers? We look at whether the first screen frames membership as access or as identity.
Is your join page a checkout form or an invitation? We evaluate whether the page builds a case for belonging before asking for payment.
Can a visitor see themselves in your membership? We look for proof of real members, real outcomes, and a narrative that invites belonging instead of listing benefits.
Are your calls to action transactional or aspirational? "Subscribe now" and "Join us" train different behaviors. We score how your CTAs position the membership decision.
We flag language that defaults to subscription framing when member framing would be stronger. Words like "access," "savings," and "subscribe" train one behavior; words like "belong," "join," and "community" train another.
Does your site reinforce the membership decision after someone joins? We look for signals that remind members why they belong, not just when their renewal is due.
